Because this  museum is very large, it took us till 1:00 p.m. to look at everything,
having left the house at 9:00 a.m. and driving about 20 to 30 minutes to get there.
We packed or lunches at home and  ate them there.
Next, we went to the Municipal Palace of Lima which is the Metropolitan Municipality's of Lima headquarters, but is also open to the public. Although the palace was built in the seventeenth century, it was destroyed by earthquakes and  had to be reconstructed. We really enjoyed the French Renaissance influence and architecture which was very unique to the palace. We also found ourselves spending a lot of time in the art gallery there. The pieces they had were absolutely breath taking and they featured the works of many famous artists and photographers. After touring the palace, we decided to head in for the night.
